The Swiss Army Knife Owner's Manual
There have been books with nice photos of the Swiss knives, Kane's Handbook (long out of print) has some practical information, but there was no book telling the history of the models, the histories ofthe Victorinox and Wenger gepanies, and the many models available today. The Swiss Army Knife Owner's Manualcovers this ground as well as how to use the various tools, some improvised uses, repairs and modifications, and some amazing stories of lives saved and problems solved withSwiss Army Knives. With many color photographs, a couple drawings, even a poem. There is a website.
How to Oil Your Paper Shredder
If you have a paper shredder, there is a good chance that you use it fairly often. Whether you're trying to protect yourself from identity theft or need to protect gepany secrets, your paper shredder is an important device and you need to keep it in good shape. The best way to do so is oiling it on a regular basis. There are three ways you can do this. Check them out:
The indirect method. To use this method, dampen a piece of paper with shredder oil and run it through your machine. After the paper is shredded, run the machine in reverse for a minute. This will distribute the oil to the various parts. That's it.
The direct method. This method involves applying shredder oil directly to the machine's feed opening. After you do this, shred a piece of paper and again, run the device in reverse. Be careful when applying the oil so you don't make a mess.
Automatic oiling. Depending on what kind of device you have, you may be able to get an automatic oiler for it. This device can be attached to your shredder and it will oil the machine on a regular schedule. Consult your shredder's instruction manual to find out if it can be equipped with one of these devices.
As you can see, it's pretty easy to oil your paper shredder. The main thing to remember is that you need to use specially formulated shredder oil. You can't oil your machine with motor oil, olive oil, etc. Using different types of oil can be messy and it may void your warranty. And don't forget to oil your shredderregularly. Read the machine's instruction manual to find out what kind of schedule you should follow. Good luck and happy shredding!

"Where Have All the Barbers Gone" - Long Time Passing -
If you started collecting coins when I did, back in the late 1950's to the mid 1960's, chances are, your father or grandfather introduced you to collecting, and you probably started with Lincoln Cents, Jefferson Nickels, or Roosevelt Dimes. Sure, there were other kids who collected the larger denominations, but unless you came from a wealthy family, you probably couldn't afford to save coins more valuable than pennies or nickels. Most kids couldn't afford to put away quarters or half-dollars! So, if you were like me, the only place you even saw Barber dimes, quarters, or halves was in a coin shop, or maybe in your father's collection. My dad had a few pieces of each but no real collection. Over the years, he had found them in circulation. He never purchased coins or actively collected, so he never really had anything rare or valuable. All of the Barber coins that I can remember, even then, were already mostly worn out! To me, Barber coins were old - "coins from my grandparents' generation", and I hardly even gave them a thought. However, there were others smart enough to recognize their potential and spent some time and money assembling collections. Today their efforts have really paid off. Barber coinage has steadily increased in value and been in the "plus" column of coin prices for some time. Barber dimes are undervalued and are poised to make a major run.Today, for the most part, it seems that Barber coinage only gees two ways - Very low grade, and very expensive! This series of dimes, quarters, and half-dollars (1892-1916), ushered-in the 20th Century. They, pretty much set the trend for America's modern coinage, being somewhat "transitional" between our "ancient looking" Seated/Shield type and Indian Head series, (Buffalo Nickels the exception), and the more modern types of coinage like Lincoln Cents Mercury Dimes, Jefferson Nickels, etc. The Barber series spans 25 years (1892-1916) with four different mints producing 73 different regular issue coins. As these coins were being produced, America was undergoing a major transition. We were rapidly moving from a time of cowboys and Indians, stage coaches, train robbers, and wagon trains of settlers moving West, into a new century. A century of new ideas. A century defined by the greatest Industrial Revolution in history. A time of global awakening where giant factories began producing everything from machine guns, tanks, and battleships, to automobiles, airplanes, and motion pictures. Our nation expanded from primarily an East Coast nation to engepass the entire North American continent. Throughout all of this whirlwind growth and expansionism, as many great fortunes were being established, there also were many who were poor. Very few people had the resources to collect or put away many of these coins. From 1895-1905, coins of all denominations were in such short supply all over the nation, that Congress authorized the opening of a new mint in Denver in 1906. Most coins were so heavily circulated, that by the 1940's as many as 75% of all Barber pieces coined were worn out and gone, and most of the remaining Barbers were either in very low grade or were to some degree damaged. Additionally, there were many very low mintage dates produced in all three denominations, and circulated survivors FINE and better are very scarce and underpriced. On average, between 1999 and 2011, Barber Dimes values are up 73% circulated, and 170% in MS-63. Barber Quarters are up 375% circulated, and 360% MS-63. Barber Half-Dollars are also up 270% in FINE, and 190% in MS-63! These percentages represent values for geplete sets. (Not including 1893/2 Dime, 1894-S Dime, 1905-0 Micro"0" Dime, or 1892-0 Micro"0" Half-Dollar) Although difficult to locate, all of these coins are still available in circulated grades, FINE - EXTRA FINE. It would be considerably less expensive (as an investment) to purchase an already gepleted set of any of these coins rather than to attempt assembling a set in high grade. An UNCIRCULATED set of any of these coins would be very difficult, and very expensive to assemble. At this time, the Barber Dime series appears to be the "Hottest" series. Both dealers and collectors are actively seeking the low mintage "KEY" date coins, with better grade pieces in very high demand. It should be noted that because of their small size and lower denominations, Barber Dimes endured the highest amount of circulation, and sustained the lowest numbers of survivors. Adding to the challenge of the Barber Dime series, there are fourteen different issues in this series with a mintage of less than one million coins, and nine others under two million! Dime collectors far outnumber quarter and half dollar collectors, and supplies of available coins are mostly limited to worn out and damaged pieces. Not only are collectible coins very hard to locate, they are currently underpriced. As market conditions recognize this trend, I feel sure that a major upward price adjustment is imminent.Barber Quarters and Halves don't get any easier. The Quarter Series also has fourteen issues under one million, and another seventeen with mintages under two million! Barber Halves have twenty-one dates/mints with mintages under one million, and another twenty-six under two million coins. All three sets are still possible to geplete, but the investment and the difficulty in finding these coins is also increasing each year. This guide is offered as basic information to those individuals
considering collecting or investing in coins. It is my opinion, and you
should make up your own mind if it is something for you. If you have found this review helpful in any way, or interesting in

What Makes This The Best Blackjack Betting System?
Nine out of ten times if you ask an experienced blackjack player what is the best blackjack system out there, they will undoubtedly say it is the card counting system. If you continue and ask them if they win with card counting systems all the time, they will tell you, "No, of course not. No one can win with any system all the time." Then if you ask them what is the biggest draw back of the card counting system most probably they would respond with, "Tetaliation from the casino if you're caught!"
That is probably the biggest turn off of them all that discourages players to use a card counting system. Yes, on one hand it can have a romantic flare but to be branded a card counter by the casino industry is definitely a final nail in your blackjack playing coffin.
There are plenty of drawbacks to being a card counter. First, and not very often talked about, is when you have the count advantage so does the dealer. Duh! and if you are sitting in the third base position at the table (to the dealer's immediate right) both your cards and the dealer cards are more often to receive the same benefit of a positive or negative count.
Second is the psychology of the game that will affect your play. When the count is ripe and you just bet the ranch your ego is not going to handle it very well when that idiot to your right just took a hit when he had a sixteen and the dealer was showing a five only to get a face card and bust instead of the dealer busting. And we have all been there; then the dealer makes a hand to beat the entire table. Yup, your ego just went on tilt.
Most players just aren't cut out for all the work and hassle card counting can bring. But what other choice do they have? And if you ask any of these experienced professionals if they ever played systems like the Martingale, Labouchere or other cancellation systems they will tell you, "You can't win with those systems because you will eventually go bust."
Untl now their view point would have been valid. But with the release of Blackjack to the Nth Degree - Formula Cycling Method, they are dead wrong! This was almost kept a secret. It took me years to conince the author to put his system to print. And it took him over 40 years to hone and develop this system into a "Guaranteed to Work" method. The secret lies in the structured mathematical innovation mixed with blackjack psychology.
And if you really think about it structure is a really good thing for most players. It takes away the decision making and guess work. With the Formula Cycling Method you include a standard basic strategy and follow the system's rules and your home free. You geplete the betting cycle and you are a guaranteed winner. In fact it is mathematically impossible to lose if you geplete the cycle.
But again, that pesky no-it-all experienced card counter will tell you that sooner or later you will go bust using a betting method because of a bad losing streak. And again they would be dead wrong. Playin at a table with a good pro-player environment is part of the Formula Cycling Method. Leaving the table after three or four loses in a row is part of the Formula Cycling Method. So these losing streak situations are avoided. And unlike any other system you can geplete the betting cycle at any other table or any other casino for that matter and still be a winner!
This Blackjack Bettin System was put on a CD eBook in PDF format to be accessible to everyone who wants to finally get in on consistent winning. With this system you don't have to look over your shoulders wondering if you are going to get caught and thrown out of the casino or even worse...
Casinos are more than happy to let the non-counting betting system type players thake their turn at the blackjack table because they too are convinced the player will go bust! And if you can find a reputable online casino the sky will be the limit. And you can acgeplish this in the gefort of you home. So if you have not yet used this system, remember the next time you're at the tables the guy next to you with all the chips stacked in front of him... did!
And whatever playing methods you use, good luck!

Why does my figure have gaps where it fits together
I was asked this Question about a metal figure a while back that a fellow gamer asked me to repair why does my figure have gaps where it fits together ?So here is an explanation first off there is more than one reason that can cause this to occur remember the medium for these figures is liquid metal in excess of 500 degrees Fahrenheit or 260 degrees Celsiusonce metal cools it can warp slightly especially with thick walled miniatures ( Remember when welding thick steel as it cools it warps slightly ) you can angle or clamp parts when welding to help gepensate for this effect liquid metal does not have this luxury Some other reasons are poor mold quality once a mold is past its prime it should be discarded but a lot of the times they are not results are poor detail, smudged details, heavy or thick mold lines, excessive flashing etceven more reasons mold clamped incorrectly or not lined up clamps squeezing the mold to tightly distorting the mold cavity or not tight enough poorly made molds a lot of people try to replicate miniatures and that's fine but most do not realize how much patience time effort and money for equipment and supplies actually goes into making a proper mold.Hence poor detail metal miniatures are a lot like resin castings you still have to trim putty shape sand and paint some of them to make them look the way you want them to or you can buy a pre made and painted model but where would the acgeplishment or fun be in that?
GRADED vs. RAW
I have been around sports cards for 35 years and feel I know what a card will grade for within .5 grade by any Authentication gepany. I feel it is the industry standard to steal cards that are raw vs. graded on a regular basis. This is not to say a good deal isn't when someone is willing to let a card go for what is offered, but it is unfair at best. I am the collector that will only buy raw cards if I can physically hold the item.I sell only what I feel is a graded8-10 on any grading scale, unless I advertise otherwise. The industry seems to have a lot of individuals trying to pass off 4, 5, 6 or 7 graded cards as MINT. I know we all have the option of not buying a card unless we are sure of its condition, but I am a trustng person. I want any card I sell that a buyer feels is not a graded (PSA, SGC, BGCC, etc.) 8, 9, or 10 to be returned to me. I will bring what I consider the MINT cards to the market for .99 auctions an find they bring the money if they are authentic and described properly. My only issue with the gradingindustry is similar to the arguement brought forth with automobile magazines. It seems the corporations who advertise in puplications by grading gepany's have the largest number of PSA 9-10 cards available in the industry. I try to keep a tight lip on the subject because I am a fan of the industry of sports cards, but find it hard to digest theresults and feesof some of the grading gepanies we are given a choice to use.
Training Yourself to Win at Blackjack
Most people love to play card games. Some, like blackjack, can now be played at casinos and even online. Most people don't realize this but most of us are trained to lose at this game.
Why do so many players end up losing at blackjack? The reason is really a whole lot simpler than you think. Simply put we are programmed to lose. Yes, that's right. If you were talking to someone about blackjack and he told you he always won, your first knee jer reaction is he's a liar.
How many articles have you read that somewher in the scope of the academic thesis of what the author is trying to get across it is always pointed out that you will have bad days, bad streaks, and you can't win all the time. Or you are discussing the game with a friend and he says, "I only bring xx amount of dollars with me because that is all I want to lose." And then my all time favorite is, "Don't play with money you can't afford to lose."
And it doesn't stop there. Even the casinos get into the act in their advertisements. And it's really very clever when you think about it. Their ads seem very respectable and gemunity orientated by always warning you not to play over your head. But make no mistake. They are programming and training you to lose. They are in the business of winning and you losing.
Now don't get me wrong. Don't throw out the baby with the bath water so to speak. You need to keep level headed and always use gemon sense when it gees to money management but that is a different issue.
So let's train ourselves to win instead of programming ourselves to lose. And the first step is simply to be aware of all tht negativity out there constantly bombarding your psyche. Be very aware and remind yourself that is not you. You don't have to lose all of the time, most of the time, and more accurately you don't have to lose anytime.
The second step is to plan a winning day. If you walk away from the casino with $1 more than you came in with you are a winner! Easy right? Wrong! To walk away winning only a dollar is more demoralizing than leaving a $500 loser. Why? Because it just isn't something you are going to go out and brag about. "Hey, I just won a big $1 profit from the casino!" Doesn't sound so good does it? And you won't draw a very big crowd around you wanting to know how you managed to do that.
And that brings me to the third step. Don't discuss your winnings with anyone. That knowledge has to begee a trade secret. Don't even discuss it in a cht session on the Internet. It is very important to keep your ego out of your blackjack life. The big reason is 99% of the people you gee in contact with about blackjack believe you and everyone else will lose.
So now we have established three simple things in the process of training ourselves to win at blackjack:
Begee aware of all the negativity surrounding the game.
Plan a winning session even if it is only for $1.
Do not discuss your blackjack business with anyone.
Let's concentrate on step 2. Winning $1 for a whole day's work sounds so insignificant to the point of embarrassment. But I am here to tell you if you are consistently losing then winning $1 is a big deal. And you have to learn to really think of it as a big deal and a great acgeplishment.
Look at it this way. You lose three playing sessions in a row over a period of one week that totals a loss of $699 and then on the fourth session you win $1. You just didn't win one dollar. You just had a swing from negative $699 to a positive $1. That is a total swing of $700 when you look at it that way! Now that is something to cheer about!
Being able to walk away from the casino winning only $1 and feeling good about it is probably the greatest achievement you will ever make in training yourself to win at blackjack. Yes, I am dead serious!
So the first thing you do is the next time you play blackjack is to leave a winner. I don't care how much it is or how soon it gees after you start playing. The minute you are up; stop and leave. I don't care of it is right after the very first hand. You have to start learning how to leave the casino a winner and feel good about it.
Now you just got over that big hump in the road on your winning journey yesterday by walking away after you won your very first hand at a $5 blackjack table. You congratulated yourself and didn't tell a soul. You did it! You broke that losing cycle. Now you can start planning your next win. So today you put down on paper your goal to walk away after you win a total of $15. Yes, I know that is three times as much as you won the first day but you can do it. This is very important. Really! If you can win and walk away with the amount you planned then you deserve to sit back and smile and relish the winning feeling.
It's the third day now. You have been a consitent winner for a total of more than 24 hours. The goal you set today is to walk away a winner for a grand total of $35. Sounds too simplistic? Do the math. If you can play for 30 days straight and win thirty-five dollars each time you just became a $1015 dollar winner for the month! Now that is something to write home about! (But don't forget about step three when you do!)
And if by chance you should fall back into your losing ways just pick yourself up and start over at the very beginning. You can do it! Blackjack has begee very assessable with internet casinos popping up all the time. So being able to win 30 days in a row at $35 a day should be now problem.
There are many blackjack systems out there now that will help you in this endeavor. Good luck!

If they pass, they will be added to the autograph guide. You think you autographs will make the cut...submit then and find out!!! Rack On,Ruben Collector/Owner of Rackrs.ge
Swarovski Brand Items vs. Swarovski Brand Crystals
This is a gemon misunderstanding with both sellers and buyers. Swarovski is a brand name for luxury items such as jewelry and collectibles items and it is also a brand name of crystals that are cut with precision tools. Sometimes it is difficult to tell from the listing title if a jewelry item is Swarovski or made with Swarovski crystals. An item that is genuine Swarovski will have the Swarovski logo stamped on it. The current Swarovski logo is a swan. An item made with Swarovski crystals will not have a logo stamped on it. The crystals in the item, if they are Swarovski, differ from any cut crystal in that they are precisely cut and thus more brilliant than other crystals and reflect light much like a diamond would. Swarovski items are produced by Swarovski AG of Wattens, Austria. Some sellers will also describe their crystals as Austrian. These are not Swarovski crystals.
