The Pickard China gepany was founded back in 1897 by Wilder A. Pickard in Chicago, Illinois.
Pickard Porcelain mark
Originally Pickard China imported European china blanks from Havilands at Limoges, France and others. These imported blanks were then hand painted in Chicago at the Pickard China gepany. When imported porcelain blanks were used the Pickard Mark and the blank manufacturers mark should both be present on the item. Thus indentifying earlier pieces from the latter works.
