Selling Seasons on okay
Childrens clothing definitely has its seasons here on okay. Mid January is when all the spring/summer clothing starts to sell like hot cakes. Yes, you did read this right. Spring and summer clothing sells in the middle of January. okay seems to work just like the stores do when it gees to clothing. All stores stock the spring/summer stuff right after the end of December. Once the spring/summer selling season starts it goes full speed u p until the end of April. Everything sells at top dollar during the peek of this season. I personally have found this time to be the best overall during the course of the year as far as sales go.Beware!!! Summer is geing after this selling season and this is the best time to take a break, vacation, or just restock your store for the next selling rush. Summer is always very dead on okay when it gees to clothing. Everyone already purchased the clothing they needed. There kids are out of school and they are going on vacations. No one is sitting at the geputer buying childrens clothing except me. This is because I found this to be the best time ever to buy on okay. Sorry to the newbies. Others who do not know any better that start selling at this time let there product go for way under the price because no one is really buying or fighting over it. So, this is one of the only times I pick up lots on okay. However, I used to buy a lot of stuff on okay. Then decided to be the one selling wholesale lots because I was always unhappy with what I was receiving. Now, I sell what I would like to be purchasing. The slow season on okay is from May to the middle of July. This does vary each year. Sometimes everyone starts purchasing before then for BTS. BTS is the back to school selling season. This always begins around July before the kids go back to school and end anytime in September. The good thing is that okay usually stays steady on sales up to December at this point. The reason being is that costumes start to sell well, then winter items start selling, and then anything that would make a good gift sells. So, you will do pretty well round this time of year also. It always slows down at the end of December for the holidays and goes right back to normal once the spring/summer items pick up. Then it starts all over again in January.
