Photoshop Elements is more affordable and it only contains parts of the full version. The Elements version will allow you to get your feet wet to what is possible with this type of software.

Digital Scrapbooking Techniques
I first bought Photoshop Elements to work on my digital scrapbooking. I took some online classes and saw how easy it is to learn if you just practice. With small children, getting out all the scrapbook supplies can be frustrating. Digital Scrapbooking has NO MESS and has very impressive results.

Both these Layouts were done with PHOTOSHOP Elements! With a small amount of training/practice you will be able to add shawdows, custom shapes, erase edges to look like ribbon, cut photos into shapes, and make your own brads and other embelishments. The fall page shows how you can use a background image as your paper and then highlight parts to stand out. Both pages show the way text can be added and shaped in many ways.
Simple and geplex Borders and Frames
Photoshop Elements has frames built right in to choose from. This makes it very easy to learn. CS2 lets you be much more creative and artistic as you get more experienced.

These are examples of how a frame can get more geplex with a few easy steps. This also was done in PHOTOSHOP Elements!

It is my goal to give you a few examples of how you can turn simple photos into gifts or life-long memories with ease. I hope this gives you an introduction to the capabilities of these software packages. I will go more in depth in future guides. Go out and try PHOTOSHOP and learn how easy editing photographs can be. Please see my other guides. If you have any gements please post those in this blog.
